Magazine and Newspapers Databases

Access: 
To access the databases listed below, please get the brochure of usernames and passwords from the elementary library.
 
EBSCO Databases (includes MasterFile, Topic Search, Primary Search, and Kids Search) -
MasterFile: Allows access to information on a broad range of topics including general interest, business, health, and multi-cultural.
Topic Search: A current events/social issues database.
Primary Search via Searchasaurus: A database designed for elementary students with information on a wide range of general topics.
Kids Search is a database designed for students in K-8.  It allows you to search Primary Search,  Topic Search, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, and EBSCO Animals at the same time.

ELibrary - Offers more than 1500 full-text sources with a fun and easy-to-use search interface.  Includes magazines, newspapers, books, television/radio transcripts, maps, pictures and audio/visual clips.

Junior Edition - Formely SuperTOM Junior, this periodical database is designed for students in middle school, with magazines, newspapers, and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports, and more.

ProQuest Professional Collection - A comprehensive research collection of more than 300 magazines and journals for K-12 professional development and continuing education.
