Jr./Sr. High School Counseling Center
Every student at Cambridge High School has the support of a school counselor in the process of planning their pathway throughout the high school years. Counselors assist with post-secondary planning towards college, employment or other vocational opportunities.
Counselors become an advocate and can guide each student toward essential resources to become college and career ready. Informed decisions need to be made by students and their families throughout high school and our counselors are ready to work with you.
Students are assigned a counselor based on their grade level.

NYS DMV Learner's Permits
Students interested in getting their learner’s permit can now do so at school! Here's how it works:
- Students will provide identification information to create a unique ID for the NY DMV Knowledge Test.
- Students will be able to take the exam online with a secure device, proctored by Ms. O’Hearn.
- Upon passing the exam, students will receive receipt of their testing information.
- Students need to bring the receipt to a local DMV office to receive their permit.
Contact Aydin O’Hearn at 518-677-8527 ext. 1423 or aydin.ohearn@cambridgecsd.org to register for a time to take the test.
