• To our CCS families,

I know it has been a while since we’ve had any updates or news to share with you in regards to our school building closure. There has been a lot of activity here on campus to prepare for the return of our students to school. We are extremely excited about the potential of having our halls and classrooms alive with learning, laughter, and energy once again.

The facilities are being meticulously cleaned and sanitized by our building and grounds staff. The transportation department is eager to return. The food service staff is taking a much needed and well deserved break to be ready to provide our students with nutritious meals. Our building project is moving along quickly; the tennis court, track, and roofing project are nearly done, the new fitness center and building facade look sharp.

Guidance from the New York State Departments of Education and Health is slowly being released this week. As we plan for the possibility of in-person instruction, we are seeking your input. We understand that the most pertinent feedback comes from those who will be directly impacted by the plan. Your feedback along with the guidance will help us formulate our plans.

Moving forward, we will be addressing areas such as; transportation, scheduling, food service, instruction, technology, and just about every aspect of our school. In this communication we are attaching a link to a brief questionnaire to help gather your thoughts.

Please take the time to fill out the questionnaire at: https://forms.gle/P5cM2Hu1rX8nkNdQ9 The school will be using this information as we plan for the fall. Questionnaires will also be sent to staff and students.

In addition we will be sending a printed copy of student and parent questionnaires home.  The questionnaires can also be found on our website under the hotlink on the school’s home page.

We can’t wait until we are all together again.

Please Be Kind, Stay Home, Stay Safe.
