Grading Policy

All grades will be given as a fraction:

  points earned/points possible

At the end of each quarter your grade will be calculated by determining the percent of total points earned out of total points possible. Tests will be added in twice.

Homework:

Homework helps you practice the skills learned in class. Completing your homework to the best of your ability is essential to your success in any math class.    Homework will be assigned almost every night. Each homework assignment will be collected and scored (✓+, ✓, ✓-).  Scores will be based on effort and understanding of the material.  Any homework assignment may be "fixed" during the unit to raise your score!

Attendance Policy: 

If you are absent you missed something important!! It is your responsibility to make up any missed work. All work should be made up within 2 days from the absence.
