When revieiwing policy the Board meets as a committee of the whole with other school personnel almost monthly to be sure they are as up to date as possible.  After the Policy Committee reviews them they are placed on the Board agenda for a first reading.  Those are the policies listed under this section of the website.  The policy goes through three readings and is adopted on the third reading.  There are few instances when a polciy is adopted on the first reading, but somethimes there is a need to do that in order to be aligned with New York State Education Law.  The public is invited to reach out to either the Superintendent, Board President or District Clerk should they have and comments or suggestions about any policy under review.
