In January 2022, the district began the process of a master facilities plan. The plan is designed to receive feedback from a variety of audiences, including students, staff members, parents and community members. The goal is to lay out a master plan for the ideal CCS facilities for the next 20 years. The planning process involves all of our facilities, including the school grounds and all of the school property.
The first part of the planning process was a survey on a number of topics related to the district's facilities. After the district analyzed all of the survey results, it hosted four community forums that are open to the public. Forums will be an opportunity for open dialogue and discussion about the district’s facilities.
After the facilities planning process concludes, all of the work and recommendations will be shared with the district’s building committee for consideration. The building committee will then meet and prioritize items for a series of capital projects that will be proposed to upgrade our facilities.
