Dear Third Graders,

  Happy Summer! I hope that you have been having an amazing summer full of adventures and relaxation. I love this time of year and have been having a lot of fun with my family and friends.

  The start of the new school year is right around the corner and I am so happy that you are in my classroom! Third grade will be new to all of us in room 28 this yearJ I am excited to start this new journey in 3^rd grade with you! I know many of you from seeing you in the hallways, and some of you were even in my 1^st grade classroom! We are going to have a great year together full of many new learning experiences, such as multiplying, reading and writing stories, exploring communities around the world, and learning about ecosystems.

Along with my letter, I have also sent you another third grade supply list. I hope that you have been reading this summer to feed your amazing brainJ I would love for you to write me a letter to tell me all about your summer and what you are looking forward to in 3^rd grade. My address is:
