First Grade Supply List

• 2 boxes of crayons (no more that 24)
•  12 Dixon Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened, if possible)
• 
  
•  2 large erasers
•  4 small glue sticks
•  plastic pencil box (small, approx. 5”X8”)
•  2 dry erase markers
•  2 plastic two-pocket folders (with pockets at the bottom)
•  three ring binder (hard cover, no more than 1”, the kind that has a clear pocket on the front)
•  art smock (an old shirt is fine)
• Optional: A hand held pencil sharpener that collects the shavings, a box of Ziploc baggies *(snack or gallon, not quart- I have a ton of them!), a box of tissues, colored pencils and/or markers to share with the class.

We will put away one box of crayons, extra pencils, one eraser, and extra glue sticks for use later in the year.  Please send your extra supplies in a Ziploc baggie with your child’s name on it.  You may wish to purchase additional supplies while they are reasonably priced and easy to locate.  It is amazing how quickly crayons and pencils disappear.
