Mr. Brian Cofresi

Brian Cofresi has been an educator for 11 years. During those years he has worked at Saint Anne Institute (a placement school for at risk, high need students), Albany City School District, Capital Region BOCES (as a substitute teacher for various districts), and he has just completed his first year at Cambridge Central Schools. His responsibilities and duties have included coordinating a program to encourage students to participate in activities that supported an interest in STEM careers, established and maintained as a teacher a program for at-risk students that had been removed from the Albany City School District, and was selected and assigned to aid in the development and implementation of NYSSLS throughout Albany City School District's middle schools. He has also overseen and coordinated afterschool clubs in the areas of girls' softball and tabletop gaming for at-risk, high need students. While at Cambridge, he has coached 7th Grade Modified Boys' Basketball and is one of the lead coordinators of Cambridge's Annual Summer Science Program.
