General Information for Parents
I am very excited to be your child's teacher and hope to offer a nurturing, hands-on learning experience that will help your child grow academically and be confident in the classroom.

Parent Letters
A parent letter is sent home each month. The purpose of the letter is to communicate with parents and provide information about what the focus for that month is including some of the specific activities we will be working on to accomplish the learning objectives. A copy of the parent letter will also be available here on this page using the hyperlink under 'Monthly Letter' below and will be listed
Please take a few minutes to read the parent letter carefully and talk to your child about what we will be working on and learning for the month. An info-graphic will also be provided as a pictorial view to help reinforce monthly learning objectives.

After the school year begins, tabs will be provided for each subject area which will include: English Language Arts; Science; Math; Social Studies; Art and Physical Education. Each individual tab will take you to material specific for that subject area. It will provide information to help guide your child's learning that we will be working on throughout the year.
Character Development
Besides learning, we promote important character traits that help your child be successful not only in their classwork but in life in general. Please take a few minutes to review the month's character trait with your child. And, if you have any anecdotal stories or insights you would like to share please let me know!
