On Thursday, March 19, the CCS Latin Club hosted its 13th annual school-wide talent show that featured eleven dynamic acts performed by students in grades 7-12.
With all the talent on display, the iudices, or judges, Mrs. Andrew, Ms. Taveras, and student-judge Quinn Burke, had a difficult task. Nonetheless, they awarded Ella Record (guitar and vocals) and Piper Konsul (drums and vocals) third place for their performance of “Dreams” by the Cranberries. Second place went to Ewan Lederer-Barnes (guitar) for his rendition of “You Give Love a Bad Name,” while Jenna Babushkin and Gwen Lederer-Barnes won first place for their Irish dance performance of “Gypsy.”
The Latin Club would like to say “maximas gratias” to the CCS administration, judges, chaperones, custodians, Gladys Dougherty (photography), technicians Jaron Barber, James Morrow, and Madison Baldwin, the audience, and especially all the performers! Eugepae! (Hurray!)
