Please note, we have a number of events throughout the day and evening on Tuesday, May 20. We have asked all employees to park at the Bus Garage and along the access road to allow ample parking for voters and individuals planning to attend any of the scheduled events.
Please adhere to any signage related to construction with the capital project.
Budget Vote & BOE Election
The Budget Vote and Board of Education Election will take place from 12-8 p.m. in the High School Library. For more information about the proposed 2025-26 budget, please visit our website.
Art Show
Throughout the afternoon and evening, there will be an Art Show in the High School Library showcasing our student work.
Charlie Cart Food Tasting
CCS purchased a Charlie Cart using funds from the Healthy Meals for Kids Grant. Everyone is invited to participate in food samplings from the Charlie Cart at 3, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. near the exterior entrance of the High School Library.
The cart will be demonstrating the breakdown of local spring veggies with an easy vinaigrette and a fresh limeade. Asparagus is our New York harvest of the month. It will be served in the cafeteria on Wednesday, May 21. All of the ingredients for the samples were purchased with funds from the Healthy Meals for Kids Grant.
Additionally, the Charlie Cart has a curricular component to teach students about science and cooking.
Faculty Kickball Game
Don’t miss the Faculty Kickball Game at 4 p.m. on the Softball Field. This event is a fundraiser for the Class of 2029.
Book Fair/Club Exhibits
The Scholastic Book Fair is taking place the week of May 19. May 20 is Family Night at the Book Fair from 5:30-7 p.m. in Room 64. Additionally, check out our elementary club exhibits in the hallway as you make your way to the Book Fair.
