Commencement Speaker

Kean Bouplon is a 1995 graduate of Cambridge Central School. Majoring in English, he earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hartwick College and played Division 1 college soccer.

For nearly 20 years, Kean worked as a Family Wealth Advisor at legendary firms such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Kean’s path took a dramatic change after losing both of his parents to cancer in less than 4 years. His father’s impromptu deathbed talk changed everything.

In 2017, Kean walked away from Wall Street and created “Build Upon The Good,” a popular syndicated podcast that focuses on legacies and guests share what “good” they hope to pass down to their next generations. Guests vary from CEOs, musicians, authors, former Navy SEALs, popular charities such as Newman’s Own Foundation to everyday people, even including fellow CCS classmates.

Recently, Kean founded Good Capital, a private wealth and investment management firm with the goal of helping families while incorporating a charitable purpose.

Kean lives in Voorheesville, New York with his wife and their three school-aged children.
