Congratulations to the Class of 2023 top 10 students!

Olivia Record (valedictorian)

Olivia Record is the daughter of Heidi and Cory Record. Olivia will be majoring in environmental studies at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, VT.

She would like to thank her mom for always encouraging curiosity, her dad for showing her the value of hard work and her whole family and amazing friends for all the laughs in between.

Special Memories

I have really enjoyed all of my science classes I’ve taken throughout these past four years. Mrs. Gifford’s Biology class inspired my interest in learning about the environment. I spent a week studying tadpoles in my pond and had a lot of fun. This year in Mr. Butz’s Environmental class I’ve continued to enjoy studying water quality on the floating classroom and our awesome trips to the beautiful Battenkill. Thank you for these challenges and great memories!

Kobe McManus (salutatorian)

Kobe McManus is the son of Ivonne and Roger McManus. Kobe plans to pursue a degree in computer engineering at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU).

He would like to thank his amazing family, friends and teachers.

Special Memories

When my 5th grade class was participating in field day, Mrs. McKeighan, my teacher at the time, dove for an egg during the egg toss, securing the overall win for our class that year.

AP Biology last year with Mrs. Gifford was very engaging and I made many special memories. From funny class quotes, to conducting our own self-designed experiments at the end of the year, it was an extremely fun environment to be in.

Lauren Archambeault

Lauren Archambeault is the daughter of Sue Mowrey and Todd Archambeault. Lauren plans to attend Clarkson University.

She would like to thank her mom Sue and her dad Todd.
