Positive Action Notes initiative kicks off school year

CCS kicked off the year with its first month of Positive Action Notes. The foundation of a positive school culture is built on appreciation. Every day, our halls are filled with acts of kindness, dedication and achievement. It is important to make it a priority to shine a light on these moments by taking the time to recognize the students and staff who make our district an exceptional place to be. Throughout the school year, staff will be recognizing students (and each other!) for displaying any of the following qualities:

  • Positive attitude
  • Respect
  • Compassion
  • Enthusiasm
  • Encouragement
  • Service
  • Gratitude
  • Integrity
  • Accountability
  • Citizenship
  • Honesty

When a student or staff member is highlighted, they will receive a personal note marking the positive attributes they bring to the CCS culture. Recognitions will be given monthly.
