Students to participate in American Heart Association reading fundraiser


Students in grades K-12 will be fundraising for the American Heart Association. Each school is kicking off a service-learning program, Kids Heart Challenge. The elementary school fundraiser will begin on Monday, April 29. The high school fundraiser will begin on Wednesday, May 1. Both fundraisers will conclude on Friday, May 17.

Use the link(s) above to register your student and kick off the fundraiser! Secondary students will be creating accounts in English classes this week.

The final week of the fundraiser (May 13-17), we will celebrate with a Reading is Fun Week! The week’s theme days are below:

  • Monday, May 13: Sunglasses Day – wear your sunglasses
  • Tuesday, May 14: Pajama Day – wear your pajamas
  • Wednesday, May 15: Rainbow Day – wear your rainbow colors
  • Thursday, May 16: Hat Day – wear your hat
  • Friday, May 17: Heart Day – wear something that makes your heart sing (jersey, sequins, favorite color, etc.)
